Gabe and I are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary today! It's hard to believe that it has already been three years ago that our lives were consumed with pink wedding details and what excursions we would do while in St. Lucia on our honeymoon.
Just three short years ago my marriage and my wedding was the absolute highlight of my life. It was a dream come true to be marrying my best friend. I still thank for lucky stars everyday that I have the most amazing husband I could have ever asked for.
And although that day brings back so many fond and fun memories, it's amazing how quickly our priorties have changed and how the excitement, overwhelming joy, and anticipation of becoming parents are now consuming our lives.
It's fun. It's a feeling you can't explain until you are there. It's the most precious gift I've ever been given. It's something I would have done a long time ago if I knew how much joy and smiles this baby in my belly would have brought. She has become the absolute highlight of our life, and she's not even here yet. There isn't an hour that goes by that we don't talk about her, plan for her, and have huge dreams for her.
It's amazing because had someone told me three years ago, I would feel this way when I got pregnant, I would have laughed. How quickly life changes! :)

It's been almost a year!!!!
Okay so it's been almost a year since I have blogged! I'm a slacker! :) I started to feel guilty that I never read my friend's blogs anymore, so I thought if I started posting on my own blog, it would remind me to read everyone else's blog! So I promise I am going to try to get better about keeping up with blogging and reading! :)

Good Luck Tom & TT1 Team!
I just wanted to take a quick second and ask all of my friends and family to keep my dear friend Tom in your thoughts over the next several days. Tom is racing in Race Across America which started today!
For those of you who don't know it is a a bike race from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis MD. Tom's team (Team Type 1) will be competing in the 8 man division of the race - 3,020 miles total and 100,000 feet of climbing! TT1 has won the race 2 out of the last 4 years and are looking to gain the title back this year, as well as break the race record. To do so, they will need to finish in under 5 days, 9 hours and 43 minutes. They will bike 24 hours a day to get it done and you have to remember, this is an 8 man team of Type 1 diabetics.
We, of course, are so proud of Tom; and he is a true inspiration to everyone who knows him. Colleen will be meeting her husband in Maryland to watch him cross the finish line next week. We are so excited for Tom & Colleen, and we hope you send good thoughts their way over the next several days!
Good Luck to Tom and the TT1 Team!!!! We know you will all do fabulous!!!!! You can keep up with the progress on Colleen's blog.

House is officially For Sale!
Wish us luck! :) I am not getting my hopes up too high, and understand that whatever happens, happens!
I plan every little, tiny aspect of my life, so not knowing what is going to happen is the worst.
But I saw this quote the other day and I love it! I am so anal about planning, so I am going to keep this quote in the back of my mind!
"We plan, God laughs"
Have a Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Our House!
Gabe and I bought our first house a little over three years ago. This house holds a special place in my heart. For those of you who don't know, we bought our house from my parent's best friends Paul & Nan.
At the time, we bought it because it was the perfect starter home, close to everything, and less than five minutes away from my mom and dad. I have fond memories of coming to this house as a child during family trips back to Ohio. Most days it feels like "our house" but sometimes I get flashbacks of it being Nan's house. It always makes me smile! :)
I remember soon after we moved into our house, I found my grandma's brag book, and in it was a invitation to my baby shower. It had our address, and even a map of our neighborhood. I think it is neat that I am living with my husband in the house that my baby shower was held in. :) I even have several old pictures of me playing outside at this house starting when I was about three years old and on.
Well the time has come for Gabe and I to try to sell this house! (In this housing market, who knows?) I am having mixed emotions about it, and for some reason I think I will be sad to leave. I almost wish I could pass this house on to someone in our family, and keep the tradition alive. Although I am super excited to buy a newer, bigger, better house, a small tiny part of me wishes we could stay!

Tag you're it!
I did this a few months ago and thought it would be fun to do again! :) Here are the rules for this tag:
1. Go to the 3rd folder where you keep your pictures on your computer.
2. Post the 4th picture in the folder.
3. Explain the photo.
4. Tag 4 fellow bloggers to join in the fun
This picture is from Chuck and Kelli's wedding last Spring when Gabe was Chuck's bestman. It was an awesome wedding, and a fabulous three day event. Everyone had a blast, and I will forever have some great memories from that weekend! :)

I am proud!
One of my best friend's has a daughter who is turning one next week. I have been excited about her gift for at least a month or two ago when I bought it. I can't tell you or show you pictures because obvioulsy her mom reads my blog. Anyways, since this is such a special birthday I decided to make my own package to put her gift in. I am not crafty at all, and I don't think anything I make ever looks good. But this time was different. I think it turned out really cute, and I am proud! :)
