Christmas..My favorite time of year!

I love Christmas, it's by far my favorite holiday and the best time of the year! I can't believe it's almost here, have a very Merry Christmas my friends!

It's Officially Winter!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. We did! We stayed in town this year and we only had to travel 5 minutes to my parent's house. We had a nice dinner with my family, my grandparents, and my nephew Nickolas. It's always so much fun with a five year old running around. :)

Talk about perfect timing, it started snowing today in Columbus and we leave for vacation to Florida on Thursday. Yay! I am excited to be heading to 85 degree weather. We will be back next week and in the meantime, stay warm!!!!!

The judge made a temporary ruling until April, and thank goodness my family gets Nickolas every Wednesday, every other weekend, and every other holiday! :)

Tonight was our first Wednesday and we played hide and seek over and over and over again....of course we didn't mind a bit.

I love the little guy so much!

I know....I know....I know.....

It's a little early for Christmas, but I couldn't help myself! Gabe and I are doing the Christmas decorations this weekend. Yes, it's early but it makes me happy. We aren't going to do the outside until Thanksgiving weekend at least. My mom has been doing her Chritsmas stuff all week and both nights I have been over there, I am so jealous that Gabe said I have to wait until this weekend. It's just too big of a job to do during the week! Call me crazy, but I LOVE Christmas. :)

Happy Positive Thoughts!

Since June my family has been going through a terrible time trying to get my nephew back into our lives. His mother decided after 5 years of him being our everything, to suddenly take him away. The judge is suppossed to rule on our case sometime this week, please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. We desperately miss our baby, and he misses us! This is a picture of him on trick-or-treat, one of the few times we have gotten to see him in months.

My brother-in-law turned 30th this week, and my sister-in-law threw a birthday/halloween costume party. Kristine, Dominic, and I all dressed up as pirates. Of course, he was the cutest! :) It was an adult party, so Dominic didn't get to stay long. His grandma and grandpa got to watch him. Here are a few pictures of him for you to enjoy! :)

I got a new car!

As most of you know I had a new Honda Civic before, but in a matter of 6 months I had 3 accidents, and only one was my fault. So I kept telling Gabe that my car was cursed, and I needed a new one.

So for Sweetest Day Gabe suprised me with a brand new SUV. It's a 09 red Jeep Liberty with gray interior. I was so suprsied! :) I have the best husband ever! :)

It's been awhile!

It's been hectic, and crazy lately! I am trying to avoid getting stressed about everything that is going on in our lives, but sometimes it's hard to just forget about the those things! I try to remind myself that what goes around comes around, and also to stay positive!

I have been interning at Common Pleas Court, so my free time is even more sparce now. I love it, and it is great experience, just very time consuming! I have been in a rape trial for the last two weeks, so it has been very interesting!

Gabe has been sick all week, and now I am starting to feel a little under the weather. I really hope I am not sick all weekend!

My dad is in route home. He left Afghanistan yesterday and will be home on Tuesday! Finally! :) YAY!

Random Friday Thoughts!

1. I hate when men try to hit on you when driving on the freeway! Do you really think I am going to pull over???? Please!
2. In addition to my already busy, busy schedule, I will now be at Common Pleas Court on Mondays. I started this past Monday, and it was a lot of fun, but I was on my machine for 8.5 hours, which was exhausting!
3. My dad will be home in less than 3 weeks! Yay! :)
4. I am healing pretty well, and my swelling is going down a lot!
5. I want to grow my hair out long again.
6. I would like to loose 20 pounds by Christmas!
7. Everyday I love my husband more and more! :)
8. I am excited for the weekend!
9. I spent 2 hours cleaning my closet out last night, and it felt really good!
10. I miss Nickolas!

Dominic & Uncle Gabe

1. I miss my nephew Nickolas.
2. I miss my dad. I wish he was home. My mom needs him home.
3. I am excited for Buckeye Football. :)
4. I wish my body was completley back to normal.
5. I hope someone buys our dinning room table, hutch, and buffet.
6. I am excited to go to my friend Liz's bookclub tonight. I need out of this house!
7. I hate insurance companies. Especially this adjuster at Geico who is trying to screw me.
8. I love my husband so much, and I hate that he couldn't stay home with me today. Someone as to work, I guess! :)
9. I am so proud of my mom, she has quit smoking!
10. I have the ugliest rental car, a Dodge Charger that my husband paid more to get. Ugh!

Summer 2008

I have had a fantastic summer with my friends, and I wanted to thank you all for the memories! Here are a few highlights of our summer! I love you all and I'm thankful that each and every one of you are my friends! :)

Dominic is 9 months old!

I survived! :)

My surgery went great! I actually wasn't too nervous, just really excited! I remember being wheeled into the surgery room and seeing at least 10 people rushing around in chaos kind of. I remember asking my very cute anesthesologist if all these people were going to see me naked for the next four hours? He said, yes we see naked people everyday! And the next thing I remember is waking up and seeing Gabe and my mom standing by my bed. I couldn't remember if I already had my surgery or not. Until I looked down! YAY!

My doctor told Gabe they were in the same zip code now! :)

I still have a lot of recovery and healing to do, but each day gets better and better! I am still weak, sore, and extremley tired. I am having a really hard time getting comfortable, but all things considered I am doing wonderful!

Thank you everyone who sent well wishes, cards, gifts, flowers, and cookies! :) I was amazed at how much support and love I have recieved from all of you! Thank you again!
